After Everything

How peculiar....
After everything,
I know I'll be fine.

Things will change as they always do,
The ones that matter will follow through.
Some will leave and some will fade,
All will live with the choices we've made.

And I'll be okay.

Isn't it amazing,
After everything,
There's something greater?

When I'm down in the dirt
When I'm bitter and hurt,
When I can't fight the thirst,

Through the worst.

I'm in awe--
